Embrace winter adventure and liberate the your soul!
The Windsor Gravel ride, already a firm favourite with West London Gravel riders, takes you out of the capital on tracks ranging from pure gravel to something muddier and wetter, but always rideable. The route takes you through West London’s neglected edgelands.
The Heathrow Express explores the fringes of Europe’s busiest airport. Here you’ll find London’s wilder lands, and great gravel paths.
London’s Cobbled Classic is a ride for any would-be Flandrian. With over 20 ‘secteurs’ it’s certainly challenging, even if it’s not pure gravel, it is best ridden on a gravel bike.
Eastern Gems takes you out east, there’s the little known Thames Chase Park, a chain of restored wetlands and landfill sites, which are hauntingly lovely and deserted. The route explores this part of neglected London makes for a memorable day out.
The Hoo Peninsula is the easternmost ride in the collection. If you’ve not ridden the tracks and trails of this most lonely of spots (although it is only 30 miles from Central London), then do not rest till you have done so.
Ride these routes this winter and you become a true London graveller!
